FRANCES: DESIGNER / STORYTELLER

 

Did you know that Francis (F.) Scott Fitzgerald named his daughter after himself? Yep, it’s true. Frances’s mum knew this. That’s because The Great Gatsby author was her favourite writer. And that’s why you’ll find the same name on this designer’s birth certificate. 

 

As fate would have it, Frances embraces symbolism and narrative in her design work, just like F. Scott did in his writing. She knows the power of art and design to tell a story — it’s not just pretty pictures, it’s the meaning behind it that can change hearts and minds.

Frances has been plying her trade as a designer and creative storyteller for close to eight years now. To be honest, much of her time is spent creating in one way or another, but when she does get away from behind the screen, she finds comfort in her sewing machine and a mad-tasty glass of gin.
